Well its been a few days since I posted so I thought I would drop by and say hello! Summer is definitely here, the weather has been really hot for us here. It's in the 100's and with our air conditioner dying on us it has not been fun! We finally got that fixed, I hope, and now it's time to try and get things done. I have been working on some new patterns, one is frustrating me, so I layed it aside and am working on others for now. What are you working on? I would love to hear from you and maybe see some of your works in progress!! Have you ever purchased one of my patterns? If you have send me a photo and comment, I would love to see them!! Well hello everyone!! Yes it's Monday!! Well I got a lot done this weekend but not as much as I would have liked. We worked on my daughters room, we made her a canopy for her bed. This is the pin we tried, it worked out pretty good, I used a real fine net tulle, I think a clear light weight material would have been better but it didn't turn out too bad! Hello everyone!! I hope it's a wonderful weekend for you all!! I am helping my daughter redecorate her bedroom this weekend so it will be both fun and hard work for me!! I am hoping to get some creating done as well! I have thoughts of new crochet patterns running through my head, just have to get them all on paper! Yay!!!! I made it through day four of blogging!! I updated my free pattern post from yesterday and added a few more little things. It is finally starting to look like a blog! I will continue to update and add more pattern info, sales and lots more! If I can get enough interest in my blog I will do a different special each week. Would love to hear your ideas and input!! · Single Crochet (sc): Insert hook in st indicated and draw up a loop (2 loops on hook), yo, draw through both loops on hook.
· Double Crochet (dc): Yo, insert hook in st indicated and draw up a loop (3 loops on hook), yo, draw through 2 loops, yo, draw through remaining 2 loops on hook.
· Half Double Crochet (hdc): Yo, insert hook in next st and draw up a loop (3 loops on hook), yo, draw through all 3 loops on hook.

Coasters are 5 Inches in diameter using an I hook, if you want them bigger use a J or K hk, and for smaller coasters use an H hk,
Rnd 1—Ch 2, 12 hdc in 2nd ch from hk, join
Rnd 2—Ch 2, 2 dc in same st, *Ch 1, sk 1, 3 dc in next st*, repeat around, Ch 1, join to top of ch 2 at beginning
Rnd 3—Ch 1, *Sc in 1st st, 2 sc in next st*, repeat around, join
Rnd 4—Ch 2, *Dc in next 2 sts, 2 dc in next st*, repeat around, join to top of ch 2
Rnd 5—ch 2, hdc in same st, *Ch 1, sk 1, 2 hdc in next st*, repeat around, join to top of ch 2, finish off.
